SVN Pack (SVNP) – software tool for archiving of work copy system folders of projects under Subversion control system. Application represents executable file (.exe), residing in the root folder of the project’s work copy. At first launch application archives all folders (including nested directories) with name like “.svn” or “_svn” and saves them (with all content and nesting structure) into the single file located at the same place as the svn_pack.exe (SVNP), and deletes the original files. At the second launch of the program, it restores deleted previously files and folders. And so on.

SVNP is used for CADs, sensible to the new directories which are not a part of the project structure generated by the CAD. This also can be applied to the Expedition PCB (Layout). In this case before work with the project user should launch SVNP first, and then CAD system. After work user should launch SVNP followed by the “commit” SVN operation. Thus the problem can be solved.

I addition, if borderdata.asc file resides in the root folder of the project while unpackaging of the archive, the value of data field ($LastChangedDate:: Data_Value $) is being modified for automatic update of the revision number of the file, written to the field ($LastChangedRevision: Rev_No $) which can be visible on the border of the schematic.
