Vector (quadrature) demodulators are used to transfer high-frequency (RF) signal to zero in frequency domain. They are also called I/Q-demodulators. One has the output signal in form I(t)+jQ(t), i.e. two output channels. The general parameters are listed below. - RF input frequency range;
- I or Q channel band;
- Quadrature phase error;
- Noise figure (NF);
- Input 3-rd order interception point (IIP3);
- Gain range;
- Dynamic band.
